IntaForensics were approached by a Local Authority organisation after concerns that a trusted employee was using the organisation computers to
access pornography.
IntaForensics attended the employees office and secured their computer following ACPO guidelines for computer based evidence. The computer was
secured and discreetly transported back to IntaForensics where a full Computer Forensic Analysis was performed.
During the Computer Analysis it was found that the employee had been accessing pornography for large amounts of time over a period
of 6 months.
IntaForensics were able to extract internet records detailing the sites visited and the times and dates; these matched with the times
and dates the employee had been at work and in the office.
On completion of the Computer Forensic Analysis an Expert report was created detailing the information found in a clear understandable format. IntaForensics
supported the Local Authorities HR team in the subsequent disiplinary interview of the individual, to explian the nature of the evidence recovered.
