Secure Data Destruction
In order for a hard drive to be reused safely, its entire contents must be deleted. IntaForensics achieves this by overwriting all of the data on the drive once or multiple times, depending on the sensitivity of the data it contains.
This process securely and permanently removes the entire contents of the drive, and is therefore environmentally friendly as it allows the drive to be safely used again.

Secure Logical and Physical Destruction
Where physical destruction is required, IntaForensics will arrange secure collection of the device and in addtion to the logical destruction of the data, by overwriting the data, put it through a 'degausser' which damages the storage system and renders the magnetic media unusable. The device is finally disassemlbled and data platters are destroyed enabling the body of the device to be recycled.
Our degausser meets the standards set by NATO and the Government's Security Equipment Assessment Panel (SEAP) and has been approved by the UK government for the secure erasure and destruction of information and data stored on magnetic media up to 'TOP SECRET' level.
