Following continuous harassment from a former partner through text messages and phone calls a member of the public reported the incident to a
local Police Force to investigate the matter. The Police Force requested the victims Mobile Phone to obtain evidence to continue the investigation.
Unfortunately the victim reported they had deleted all messages in a fit of rage.
The Mobile Phone was submitted to IntaForensics for a full Mobile Phone Forensic Analysis. Following the analysis of the media 5 text messages
were recovered from the suspect. This was enough information for the police to proceed further with the investigation and recover the Mobile Phone
from the suspect.
IntaForensics were asked to analyse the suspects Mobile Phone and comment on the findings. The analyst was able to identify and correlate messages
sent from the suspects Mobile Phone that had been received by the victim.
The evidence and subsequent reports produced by IntaForensics provided the Officer in the Case with enough evidence to charge the suspect.
