After a noticeable absence of 2 years, we are particularly pleased to welcome back Matthew Jones into the IntaForensics team. Matthew started his career in Digital Forensics with IntaForensics five years ago, after graduating from Northumbria University with a First Class honours degree in Computer Forensics. Commencing in the imaging lab with the forensic acquisition of various types of digital media, he developed his knowledge and skillset before progressing to the role of Digital Forensic Analyst within the company. Matthew gained a wealth of practical experience of digital forensic investigations under the guidance of numerous talented colleagues for a range of clientele, both private sector and law enforcement. He was pivotal with his support to develop policies and procedures essential for IntaForensics’ now successful accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025, work which he rightly still looks back on with pride.
A desire for change saw Matthew leave for a position in law enforcement after 3 years with IntaForensics. He gained additional experience for 2 years working as a Data Forensic Investigator for Avon and Somerset Constabulary and is delighted to re-join IntaForensics in the new and exciting role of Cyber Incident Response Analyst.
Matthew says, ‘I am grateful to Andrew, Damian and Katherine for the opportunity to return ‘home’ to IntaForensics with a range of new experience under my belt. I am eager to develop new and existing skills in this area of the business, in order to contribute to the ongoing performance and future successes of the PFI/Cyber team.
I am delighted to welcome Matthew back to the company and looking forward to the skill and expertise he now brings to our Cyber Security team. Matthew has always been a very popular member of staff and his return is a fantastic testament to the organisation.
