Raising the Flag for the Armed Forces Community

8 September 2022

The Forensic Access Group is flying the flag in support of the Armed Forces Community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.

The Covenant is a promise by the nation to support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, and to treat them with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

In signing the Covenant, the Forensic Access Group recognises the significant value that serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and to the country and shall continue to invest in their employment.

We, Forensic Access Group, will endeavour to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant:

  • Members of the Armed Forces Community should not face disadvantages arising from their service in the provision of public and commercial services.
  • In some circumstances special provision may be justified, especially for those who have given the most, such as the injured or bereaved.

ā€œFrom both a professional and personal perspective, I am delighted to sign up to the Covenant.Ā  As the son of an Army man, I have always felt it is vitally important to support those who have dedicated themselves to serving their country to transfer back into civilian life. The skills that Armed Forces personnel have gained often transfer extremely well into our group of businesses.

ā€œAs a organisation with a number of ex-armed forces and police force staff already in our ranks, we are keen to increase these numbers whenever possible.ā€

Forensic Access Group Awarded Bronze Award for Armed Forces Covenant

Since signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant, the Forensic Access Group is pleased to announce that we have been presented with the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge to support those who have served, or continue to serve in the United Kingdomā€™s Armed Forces, and their families. The bronze award highlights the Forensic Access Groupā€™s pledge to support the armed forces and in being an Armed Forces-friendly organisation.

In receiving the bronze award, we pledge to employ reservists, armed forces veterans, cadet instructors and military spouses/partners. We are proud to offer military professionals roles within our companies using their transferrable skills. We are flexible in finding the right opportunities for the wider armed forces community to assist with their unique situations.

We share the view that all those who serve, have served or are related to anyone who has done so, should be treated with fairness and respect within the communities that they valiantly serve with their lives. The Forensic Access Group will continue to provide support and promote the invaluable work that the Armed Forces Covenant is trying to achieve.

IntaForensics has been part of the Forensic Access Group since January 2021.
