Madison Medical Professionals were first made aware of the need for Cyber Essentials when they were in the process of completing a tender bid for NHS contracts. Included within this tender, was a requirement for tendering organisations to be Cyber Essentials certified. When we were contacted, Madison Medical Professionals had already previously commenced the Cyber Essentials process earlier in 2016 using a Certification Body under a different Accreditation Body – (IntaForensics are accredited by IASME). However, they were not particularly happy with the lack of progress they had made in this time. As well as this, they had also been advised that they would have to implement an extensive and expensive IT infrastructure replacement program in order to achieve the Cyber Essentials certification – this was not the case.
