Cyber Security breakfast event!
Intaforensics, a leading UK digital forensics solutions provider, are proudly hosting an exciting and informative cyber security event on the 14th September, 2016. Located on the Staffordshire Business Technology park, the event will be attended by surrounding local business and hosted by experts in the Cyber Security industry. The event will entail everything small businesses need to know about protecting their company from cyber attackers, with informative talks from our Director of Professional Services to live demonstrations on how digital devices can be hacked!
With the growing risks of cyber-attacks in the digital world, it is imperative for businesses to have good security software in place to reduce the risk of criminals hacking their systems and causing catastrophic consequences. Damian Walton, Intaforensics Director of Professional Services and industry expert will be giving an informative and educational talk on ‘Current Cyber Threats’ as well as an overview of the ‘Cyber Essentials Scheme.’ With previous experience as Head of Data Compromise Management at Visa Europe, Damian is an expert who has extensive knowledge in cyber security.
Alongside valuable information on the current threats of cyber-attacks, Andrew Bassi, our Principal Consultant will be demonstrating different ways of how computer software can be hacked – something that should not be missed! The live demonstration will allow businesses to see first-hand the risks and the ease of accessibility to unsecured software systems, risking important documentation, all from the viewpoint of a cyber attacker.
Cyber Essentials & Incident Response
Cyber Essentials is a government backed, industry supported foundation for basic cyber security hygiene. The scheme has been carefully designed to guide organisations of any size to protect themselves against cyber threats.
The Cyber Essentials Scheme has two levels of certification – Cyber Essentials & Cyber Essentials Plus. The ‘Plus’ scheme provides a greater level of assurance following successful completion of external vulnerable testing. Here at Intaforensics, we are accredited as a certifying body for the Cyber Essentials Scheme and ISASME Standard.

What to expect?
Every business who attends our Cyber Security breakfast event will receive a complimentary breakfast, with tea and coffee. After talks and a Q&A period from our industry expert and live demonstrations of cyberattacks, including the use of a webcam, every attendee will receive a webcam slide cover for their very own webcams, which will be sent to them two weeks after the event.
