Computer, Mobile Phone and Cell Site Expert Witness

IntaForensics have proven the competence of our staff over the 14 years that the company has been offering Digital Forensic and Expert Witness services. The company operates according to accepted digital forensic best practice and standards and the UK ACPO Guidelines for Digital Evidence, and are accredited under the Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Practice and Conduct and ISO 17025:2017 standard for digital forensic testing of acquiring, extracting and analysing data from Computer, UAV Drones, SatNav and Mobile devices. The company has been accredited under the standard since January 2016, and are accredited covering all required areas which the Forensic Science Regulator considers MANDATORY for digital forensic practitioners from 1st November 2017. The scope of IntaForensics’ current Accreditation can be checked on the UKAS Website under registration number 7733.

Expertise and Specialisms

Criminal

Our experts are fully conversant with the Criminal Procedure Rules (CrimPR) and Criminal Practice Directions and have been involved in all offence types as both prosecution and defence experts. Offence types range from sexual offences, crimes of violence, fraud, theft, conspiracy, murder and many other types. Our Experts are fully conversant with Streamlined Forensic Reports (SFR) that are now a regular feature in the Criminal Justice System and were introduced in 2012 to deliver ‘swift and sure justice’ with the aim of achieving early agreement on issues between the parties, and where this cannot be achieved to identify the contested issues.

Civil

Acting for both claimants and respondents in civil litigation matters and adhering to the Civil Procedures Rules (CPR) and Practice Directions, our experts have been involved in a wide range of disputes, family matters and regulatory investigations. In addition, IntaForensics experts have frequently undertaken the role of a Single Joint Expert on behalf of the courts.
