With the demand rising rapidly for computer forensics, IntaForensics has enjoyed planned growth in a challenging market. Now, the firm is launching a free 5-day intensive training course to attract the interest of local graduates.
In recent years, as computers and mobile phones have become ubiquitous, the analysis of digital evidence (known as computer forensics) has become a necessity in the majority of legal cases. Even where a device is unlikely to have been used directly in the commission of a crime, the records on such devices may still reveal vital evidence as to motive, guilt or indeed innocence.

To qualify, applicants must hold a BSc Forensic Computing or equivalent and be available to attend the training course on the week commencing 6th June 2011. Demand is expected to be high, with the course strictly limited to just 20 places.
The course will take place at the Eliot Park Innovation Centre, Warwickshire – selected for its close ties with technology and innovation – and will provide a broad overview of computer forensic casework, including the identification of digital media; the technical requirements of preparing evidence for analysis; an introduction to key software; the analysis of the Windows operating system; and an introduction to technical reports and witness statements.
On successfull completion of Day 5, shortlisted delegates will be invited to interview for the role of Graduate Computer Forensic Analyst.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the role applicants will be required to be security vetted, therefore applicants must be currently resident in the UK and have been for at least 3 years.
