Established in 2006, IntaForensics is a specialist service provider of a wide range of digital forensics services to the law enforcement, legal and corporate markets. Our client base includes several large and small Police forces for whom we provide outsourced digital forensics, Criminal Legal defence solicitors and Litigation solicitors. We deal with the acquisition of evidence from electronic media, analysis of evidence and the support of prosecution and defence cases in the criminal justice system.

THE ROLE:

In this role you will be the first point of contact for the company’s IT support; therefore, you will be someone who is passionate about giving great customer service and loves what they do. The role involves supporting IT hardware, software and infrastructure both hands-on and remotely. You will be responsible for completing detailed and accurate call records that will be used by the IT team for fault analysis and issue resolution. The company operates a 37.5 hour working week, based on flexible working hours. The core hours of work are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break. You may be required to travel on company business from time to time both in the UK and abroad for which a valid passport as well as a full UK driving licence and car are required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Tend to the IT support desk.
  • IT Hardware installation & configuration.
  • Server & network equipment configuration and administration.
  • Update & manage anti-virus, security and software patching products.
  • Installation and configuration of printers.
  • Ability to provide advice & guidance to users ensuring policies & procedures are adhered to.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve PC & server faults.
  • Support for MS Office Applications & Windows
  • General IT support for the business.
  • Install and configure Lima internally and for IntaForensics customers ( Lima is our internally developed case management software )

ANY PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (Professional) installation and configuration (Essential)
  • Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019 (Essential)
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Microsoft Office 365 / Azure (Essential)
  • Microsoft Active Directory (Essential)
  • PFSense Firewall and LAN switching administration (Desirable)
  • Procedure and documentation development

ANY PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

  • Active Directory (managing user accounts within AD and Troubleshooting).
  • Group Policies (Troubleshooting, Setup).
  • Dynamics 365 (Desirable)
  • Exchange Online (management of user accounts, Troubleshooting and maintenance).
  • Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating systems and Applications (support).
  • LAN and WAN technologies including, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing, VPN, switching, routing, wired and wireless access (a basic networking understanding).

ANY PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft MCSA(MCP) (Desirable), Cisco CCNA (Desirable)
  • Excellent understanding of IT and Network Technology
  • At least 2-3 years current commercial experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license and own transport

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Due to the nature of the role and our work, applicants will be required to be DBS checked and also NPPV-3, SC Cleared, National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police security vetted, therefore all applicants must be currently and permanently resident in the UK and have been continuously for at least 5 years. Any cautions, convictions or financial issues will result in SC Clearance being denied.
