IntaForensics’ Lima Digital Forensic Case Management system has been awarded a 5 STAR rating and the prestigious “BEST BUY” award in SC Magazine’s 2013 Digital Forensic Tools Group Test.

This is a rare and significant achievement for any software vendor, let alone for an independent software developer such as ourselves.

We are truly proud to have had our software independently evaluated by the team at the Center for Advanced Computing and Digital Forensics at Norwich University in Vermont, USA. The SC Magazine awards are rigorously conducted over an extended period in the Center’s laboratories by a team of reviewers under the supervision of Dr Peter Stephenson.

In particular they noted that the functionality, features, workflow and security associated with our system made it an extremely versatile product which was well worth the price for the system. They designated it the BEST BUY in the review which included software from many of the major vendors of forensic tools.

Particular emphasis was made of the customisation capabilities within the software. The system enables organisations to both add to functionality through adding in additional forms and fields, and tailor the visibility and functionality of individual or groups of users.

Highly granular security controls and permissions are also built into the system to ensure that cases can be securely manageed throughout their life using the system.

To our knowledge, our digital forensics case management system is the only such system which has been independently reviewed and evaluated in this way – we are proud of our solution and our development team will continue to enhance the system with and in the interest of our user community internationally.
