Lima Version 1.7 ā is implemented in many law enforcement, commercial and professional organizations around the world. Lima users play a key role in working with us to develop and enhance our software, ensuring that it continues to meet the requirements of the digital forensic professionals globally. Ongoing additions to security and minor features within the software have been made, including the following highlights.
The July 2014 release of Lima 1.7 – focuses heavily on software usability, further enhancing laboratory efficiency and maximizes productivity.
Further developments regarding Staff Competency and Training records enabling organisations to comply with the requirements of ISO 17025 and ASCLD- LAB accreditations.
Changes to Lima Portal to submission process. Organizations will have more control over the information required to submit a case into the process, and will make the existing automated prioritization system optional.
Enabling more control over access to cases including allowing “guest investigators” to have access to specific individual cases.
Additional reporting capabilities at the level of individual exhibits/evidence and case tasks
All case items (logs, timelines, exhibits etc.) can now be excluded from PDF or HTML reports on a record by record basis if required
Additional features in Lima HTML reporting. Users will be able to add text prior to each section and select what item components and individual entries are included in report.
