We would like to thank everyone who attended our Cyber Security event this morning as well as a big thank-you to NatWest for partnering with us to help make the event the success it was! After commencing our Cyber Security events initiative just last September, we are delighted to announce that this was our biggest event to date!
Located in our Stafford facility, the event consisted of a video enriched presentation on the current cyber environment, a LIVE demonstration of a cyber attack and concluded with a presentation on the Cyber Essentials Scheme. We are overwhelmed with the immediate positive feedback we received! It was interesting to hear just how many of the audience were either unaware of the current cyber threats we addressed or that were scared by how easily a cyber attack can take place on an organisation. One stand out quote being “the event was very insightful and even a little bit scary”. Despite the purpose of the event not being to scare our audience, we do pride ourselves on the genuine insight into cyber threats and cyber-attacks that our event offers, and the reality is that they are rather scary.
