IntaForensics were delighted to host a delegation from the National Digital Forensic Center from the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office of South Korea with a party of visitors including the Chief of Forensic Investigation Planning, the Director of the Digital Forensic Division and digital forensic specialists.

The visit centred around a presentation from IntaForensics Quality Manager, Kay Murfin on the challenges of achieving, maintaining and extending a scope of accreditation under ISO 17025 as the National Digital Forensic Center wish to be the first digital forensic facility in South Korea to gain accreditation to this standard.

We enjoyed learning about your practice on laboratory accreditation particularly your valuable experience.  In addition, it was great hearing more about your step-by-step guide to starting the lab accreditation process and your advice for our lab accreditation to be adapted for our digital forensic capacities and legal system

In addition to the presentation, the delegation were given an in-depth tour of our PFI and cyber security suites and digital forensic laboratory where they witnessed the calibration of technical equipment.  The visit was concluded with an overview of our award-winning case management system Lima and a demonstration of how the application underpins our 17025 accreditation in terms of asset tracking, case management and traceability of all technical operations.
