Press Release

07 October 2026: IntaForensics, one of the UK’s established digital forensics and investigation specialists, is becoming DXR Forensics as part of the newly launched DXR Cyber.

The change will bring the IntaForensics name under the DXR Cyber identity while retaining the specialist forensic capability, expertise and services that have been built by the business over many years.

For existing clients, the change will be one of name and identity rather than service. The specialist teams, expertise, services and commitment to quality that clients rely on will remain unchanged.

DXR Forensics will continue to provide specialist digital investigation and forensic services across law enforcement and policing, legal and professional services, government and the public sector, and organisations requiring specialist digital evidence and investigative support.

Its capabilities will continue to include digital forensics, cell site analysis, e-Discovery and digital investigation services, alongside the specialist forensic technology and case management capability developed by the business. These capabilities form an important part of DXR Cyber’s broader cyber security and digital investigation offering.

Specialist forensic expertise, retained

The transition to DXR Forensics is being designed to preserve the specialist nature of the business and the expertise that has made IntaForensics successful.

Digital forensics operates in environments where technical capability alone is not enough. Evidence handling, investigative rigour, accreditation, discretion and the ability to support complex criminal, civil and regulatory matters are fundamental to the work.

That specialist focus will remain at the heart of DXR Forensics.

The wider group’s forensic capability includes UKAS-accredited evidence handling for criminal, civil and regulatory matters, supported by specialist investigators and expert witnesses. The group also has a particularly strong heritage in UK law enforcement and other high-consequence environments.

The same specialist service, with greater capability around it

Becoming part of DXR Cyber will also give DXR Forensics and its clients access to a wider range of cyber security expertise when it is needed.

DXR Cyber brings together more than 180 specialists across cyber security, resilience and digital investigations. Its wider capabilities include cyber assurance and advisory, penetration testing, managed security and threat detection, incident response, digital forensics, compliance and certification.

This means DXR Forensics will continue to operate as a specialist forensic practice while being able to draw on the wider capabilities of DXR Cyber where an investigation extends into areas such as incident response, cyber security, threat detection or broader organisational resilience.

Mike Robinson, CEO of DXR Cyber, said: “IntaForensics has built its reputation through specialist expertise, technical quality and years of experience supporting clients in some of the most demanding investigative environments.

“Becoming DXR Forensics is not about changing what makes the business successful. It is about protecting that specialist capability while giving it a stronger platform and access to the wider expertise of the group.

“For our clients, continuity is important. They will continue to work with the specialist people and services they know, with the same focus on quality, discretion and accountability. The difference is that those teams will sit within a broader cyber security and resilience group that can provide additional capability when a situation requires it.”

What remains unchanged

For customers, partners and stakeholders, DXR Forensics will continue to provide the specialist services and expertise associated with IntaForensics.

Existing relationships, specialist teams and areas of expertise will continue, while the DXR Forensics name will gradually replace IntaForensics across communications and brand touchpoints.

The transition forms part of the wider launch of DXR Cyber, which brings together CyberCrowd, DigitalXRAID, Aristi and IntaForensics under a clearer group identity. The group was brought together following investment by Limerston Capital in 2025 to create a broader cyber security and investigations business. Cyber specialists combined unde…
