We are delighted to welcome Dave Privett to IntaForensics as Business Development Director. Dave joins the team at a very exciting time as demand for our services is increasing across all areas and he will focus on growing our rapidly expanding client base for cyber security and MSSP engagements.
Dave’s background is firmly placed in Tech, Cyber Security and Data Governance. His previous experience of working in senior roles includes the financial sector where he spent 15 years. It was there he promoted tech innovations in data and whilst working for the Financial Times created the UK’s first CGT platform capturing most of the accounting marketplace.
Dave then moved to Thomsons Reuters to create the UK’s first end-to-end digital proxy voting platform and this is where he got his first insight into the world of corporate governance, with which data governance now shares many of its facets, as well as successfully lobbying the UKGOV for the legalisation of electronic signatures. In time, over 90% of the institutional fund management market were using the platform to vote on their shareholdings.
Outside of work Dave has a strong interest in aviation, although his wife calls it an obsession, with fixed wing light aircraft having obtained his Pilots licence 30 years ago!
